Edwin Benton

While growing up around others practicing their talents in front of the camera, Edwin has spent a lifetime mastering the art of working behind it. In 1999 Edwin received a football scholarship to the University of Utah where he majored in film and economics.

After graduating in 2004 with dual degrees Edwin relocated to Los Angeles and created Show The Reel Productions, a company dedicated to commercial, music video, and film production while promoting diversity in the industry. In 2007, Edwin completed the Bill Cosby Screenwriting program at USC. Today, Edwin's growing clientele consist of major companies such Universal Def Jam Music Group and Carnivo X.O.

Edwin has written, produced, and directed numerous commercials and music videos. Most recently Edwin was hired by Nexus Films to write and direct a feature film set to begin production in August with distribution through Maverick Ent. Continually developing his many talents in television and film Edwin continues to shine as one of the most promising writer/directors of our future.
