Edwin Macharia

Nairobi Kenya.

I studied Engineering at the University of Nairobi. From Engineering I learnt Problem Solving - the use of applied sciences to solve problems.

Over the years, I have worked as an Engineer and a start up technical founder. I have enjoyed some success, and also learnt valuable lessons.

As a product stakeholder, you want users to engage with your product. You want users to take action.

User on the other hand would rather not act. Our default preference is to do nothing. We are resistant to change.

We all suffer from User Inertia.

It is up to your product to move users to take action. A product that does not move users to take action is doomed to fail.

Products that users find attractive, easy to use, and valuable, move them to take action.

I use Behavioural Economics to help businesses build Compelling User Experiences. Experiences that move Users to take Action.
