Edwin Olvera

Hi, I’m Edwin. I’m a Sophomore that goes to East Leyden High School. I am a fan of technology, video games, and gaming. I’m also interested in soccer. I picked TSI as an elective because I wanted to know how to repair any type of damage/issue that a Chromebook has.

Some Achievements that I have done in TSI is Word. I also tried to get an achievement for Excel but when I went to go take the Test I failed to get my achievement because Excel is one of the hardest certification that you can get.

So far in TSI I have learned how to repair pretty much everything that there is on a Chromebook and those things are LCD, Battery, Mother Board. The only things I still don't know how to repair is a keyboard and a track pad.

TSI is a good place to learn how to work with other people because if you don't know something you can ask a classmate about it or to the teacher. You can also manage your time wisely in TSI because half a quarter you can be working on certifications and the other half of the quarter you can work on repairing Chromebooks.

During 2nd semester I was able to do 6 out of 7 repairs during this semester. I was also able to be the Operation Manger during Q4. I wasn't able to do any of the certifications that are provided by Microsoft.
