Edyson Kasigwa

Edyson Kasigwa Mukisa is a fourth year student at The University of Nairobi, pursuing a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (class of 2017). He is also a Brand Ambassador at Africa Talentbank.com (ATB), a digital recruitment company that Prepares, Positions and Transitions students from Campus to Corporate Life.

ATB hosts events such Graduate Open Days, Graduate Career Fairs and Entrepreneur Boot Camps, at which key note speakers have included: Bob Collymore (CEO, Safaricom), Marc Engel (CEO, East Africa and Emerging Markets, Unilever), and James Mworia (CEO, Centum Investment).

Edyson is a certified java programmer and undertook his studies at Kabarak University- Nakuru (Kenya). His inquisitive nature and love for technology led him to repair his own video game controllers from a young age.

Eddie is an industrious group member and, with help from his peers, researched and designed simpler, shorter and error free piece of code using the python language that designed a counter (embedded system), using the raspberry pi B platform.

In addition to academic excellence, Edyson is also a sports enthusiast who inspired and motivated his engineering football team to the e.s.a (Engineering Students Association) trophy by scoring vital goals.

On campus, Edyson is an active member of the Engineering Students Association, where he coordinates and helps set up events and talks, ensuring timely inception and completion. He participates actively in school clubs such as the Rotaract club by volunteering to do community services.
