I was born in Loveland, CO, grew up in Boulder, CO, went to school in Portland, OR. My favorite places I've traveled are Cuba, Kenya, and Scotland.
From 8am to 6pm, I spread awareness, cultivate relationships, and steward donors to raise money for KIPP Colorado Schools.
In Denver, 67% of students will graduate from high school. In low-income communities this statistic is even lower. Last year, 98% of KIPP seniors graduated high school. The three KIPP schools in Denver are proving that this does not have to be the case. That is what gets me out of bed in the morning.
My goal is to help small to mid-size nonprofits do more with less to broaden their impact.
I play sports: skiing, baseball, kiteboarding, rock climbing. In general, I just really enjoy being in the mountains, backpacking, hiking, driving, you name it.
I want to learn to take better photographs, brew beer, and weld.
