Dr. Edward Spencer retired as Vice President for Student Affairs at Virginia Tech on June 30, 2012 after a 42-year professional career in Higher Education at the University of Delaware and Virginia Tech. His graduate degrees are in social psychology and student personnel administration in higher education. He now consults on college student and organizational issues and serves on multiple national and local boards and in a variety of capacities for the Sigma Chi International Fraternity.
