Elena Fedorova

I'm native of Russia a free-lance violist, teacher currently based in York City. I frequently performed in Halls of Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Russia), Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, Moscow International Performing Arts Center (Russia), The State Kremlin Palace Concert Hall (Russia), Lincoln Center (USA) and other concert halls with various orchestras, ensembles and as a soloist.

I began studying violin at the age of 5 in Kamishin, Volgograd area, Russia. At age of 18 I switched from violin to viola. I made the big road from ordinary music school of small peripheral town to Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory, one of the best conservatories of the World. Here I had opportunity to absorb knowledge and experience of great famous musicians such as Alexander Rudin, Galina Vakhrameeva-Odinets, Alexander Bobrovskiy, Yuri Bashmet, Alexander Galkovsky, Anatoly Levin. Upon graduation from Moscow Conservatory I got invitation to study with Shanghai Quartet in US and moved to New York.

Currently I'm a member of Chelsea Symphony Orchestra and teacher of Preparatory Center for the Arts Cali School of Music Montclair State University. I participated in many different musical projects, master-classes, festivals across US and Europe.
