Emily Fransen is a private piano/voice teacher at Hall Piano Company in Metairie, LA and adjunct professor of music at Delgado Community College in New Orleans. In addition to her teaching background, she has an extensive background in various areas of the the music industry. She received a B.M. in Vocal Performance and Music Industry Studies in 2008 and most recently, an M.M. in Piano Performance from Loyola University New Orleans in May of 2013.

As a music industry professional, she has experience in audio engineering, mixing, concert production, promotion, artist management, booking, and consulting. She works around town as a professional pianist and vocalist and as Director of Hall Piano Academy in Metairie, LA. She is also the founder of the Lynn Celestin Memorial Scholarship, which benefits piano students at Hall Piano Academy who show interested in teaching and/or sharing their gifts with others. She is deeply passionate about business, music, learning, and combining those three things in as many ways as possible. In her spare time, she enjoys small dogs, cheese, yoga, biking, hiking, and pretty decent bottles of cheap wine.
