I now have over 11 years experience in the concept, design and implementation of niche jobsites and delivering an effective recruitment solution either through a jobsite or through recruitment consultancy to my clients.

My working life has been extremely varied and I started work with the BBC as a trainee accountant for BBC TV Accounts in Shepherds Bush in 1984. I then moved into the Treasury Department of Enterprise Oil and also Courtaulds Chemicals where I progressed from a back office role into a senior treasury dealer where I managed the interest rate and foreign exchange rate exposures for the companies dealing with cash management, currency options, interest rate swaps, money market instruments as well as collateralised mortgage obligations and truck and credit card receivables. Managing a portfolio valued at £1billion.

At 26 I quit London to see the world on a year off but I only got as far as the South of France where I ended up working on luxury yachts for a Saudi Arabian Prince and also in the Caribbean on sailing yachts. My yachting career was cut short by a double hernia so I moved into hospitality and ran pubs and a hotel in the UK before running hotels in ski resorts. I quickly got promoted and spent 3 years running the recruitment and operations for chalets, bars and hotels for a major ski company across 6 countries.

Then in 2000 I launched the first ski recruitment website and in 2004 I spent a year as a recruitment consultant in London recruiting for 4 and 5 star hotels and fine dining restaurants after being asked to set up a new hospitality desk for a London based Recruitment Consultancy.

My goal is to have a portfolio of niche sporting jobsites and to attract like minded people who will work with me to ensure the websites are the first port of call for people looking for work or looking to advertise jobs in each sport.
