Mr Efstathios Theodorou FRCOG is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Specialist in Reproductive Medicine at The CRGH.

He completed his postgraduate training in the UK (Northern deanery) and abroad, becoming an accredited Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He was awarded the Membership of the RCOG and entered the Specialist Register for Obstetrics and Gynaecology (2008). He pursued further training for his specialist interest in Reproductive medicine completing a fellowship in fertility at Imperial College London (Hammersmith IVF).

Mr Theodorou gained further skills working as a Consultant specialist in Reproductive medicine at CREATE Fertility who specialise in mild and natural IVF and joined CRM London with Robert Forman. He was nominated by the British Fertility Society as a Trainer for Pelvic Ultrasound and embryo transfers. He subsequently joined CARE fertility London and served as Medical Director and Person Responsible to the HFEA, leading the team to successfully passing a relicensing HFEA inspection.

He has extensive experience in all aspects of Reproductive Medicine and a specialist interest in recurrent implantation failure (immunology, receptivity), genetics (PGS), ovulation protocols for poor responders and uterine assessment. He has researched the luteal phase and presented about GnRH agonist trigger to decrease the risk of OHSS. He is passionate about evidence-based medicine, patient-tailored treatment and high quality of care. He gives lectures to groups of GPs, and other conferences for contemporary fertility issues.
