Efsun Gul was born on 13th December 1978, a morning of heavy snow in Istanbul.
After following her older sister to school at the age of four, she started the grade school early with special permission. She went on to study at St. Michel French High School. During the following years, her predisposition toward arts and literature was ignored as she was guided towards science studies, which resulted in her getting into Istanbul Technical University's Mining Engineering Department in 1996.
During her first years at the university, Efsun Gul got into broadcasting as a show producer at Number One FM. She continued her broadcasting career with jobs like TV presenting, dubbing, club DJing and in the following years, she was promoted to titles like programming coordinator, assistant music director, and production director.
When MTV decided to launch a local channel in Turkey in 2006, Efsun Gul became the head of Programming and Planning Department from the channel's inception and led the creation and execution of many local projects. She also contributed to MTV Turkey's sister channels Sinema TV and Sci-Tech TV as a consultant to the broadcasting, programming, development teams, and as a content director.
She took part in the creation and development processes of over 100 youth projects, and worked as an executive on international live broadcast operations.
As of 2009, Efsul Gul started to share her experience with young people and appeared as a guest teacher on Music Broadcasting at Turvak Foundation, Istanbul Technical University, MIAM, SAE Institute and Kadir Has University. She's been teaching at İstanbul Culture University's Communications Design Department since 2012.
She used her professional experience in "content" to found Turkey's first and only FSAP Creative Content Agency in 2010. She turns the most creative, smartest and the most accurate ways to reach young people into content and continues to get people to watch her projects in various media channels.
Efsun Gul also consults in content, broadcasting and production, does voicing, sings, plays the piano, writes and cooks well.
