He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1976), specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1977), MSc in Ergonomics from University of Paris XIII (1982) - France, Ph.D. in Ergonomics Engineering at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers (1985) - France and Post-doctoral fellow in the Cognitive Engineering École Polytechnique de Montréal - Canada. "He is currently a professor in the Department of Knowledge Engineering, Federal University of Santa Catarina. He has experience in Engineering & Knowledge Management, acting on the following topics: Cognition, Innovation and Knowledge Management.
