Our café is called EG Coffee, and many people ask about the meaning behind the name.

Originally, EG stood for "example." Our logo features a small calf, symbolizing those in society who work tirelessly, much like the saying “做牛做马”【"to work like a mule"】. In the midst of the daily grind, why not set an example—take a break, have a cup of coffee, and recharge?

The second meaning is more personal—EG also represents our names, Esther and Gavin. A simple yet meaningful reflection of who we are and the warmth we hope to share through every cup.
