A knowledge-driven developer with a spherical understanding of software engineering gained through:

• one year of commercial work experience involving an agile service delivery model, providing familiarity with modern frameworks such as Rails, Sinatra, and Bootstrap as well as with back-end (Ruby) and front-end (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) languages. This also included working practices such as TDD throughout my projects and continuous delivery and automated tests.

• a Computer Science degree, which brought me in contact with the fundamental principles of the subject and current real-world technologies and applications.

• strong personal attributes essential in the field obtained from my professional experience (problem solving, analytical skills) and activities (communication, promoting)

• a desire to independently learn and implement new programming tools, techniques and languages in combination with sharing this knowledge using open-source software

I am very motivated and excited to learn directly from more experienced developers and I love learning new skills and helping build quality products and services for users that one can be proud of. Among the things I am more interested in learning about and practising is Python, mobile applications and anything related to web development and the internet.
