Egypt Pavilion at Expo 2020. A thrilling tour throughout history. As you start to discover the 3-storey pavilion, you’ll explore the exciting experience of a place where legacy empowers the future.

Designed by Egyptian Architect Hazem Hamada, Egypt Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai Covers an area of 3,000 square meters, with a design that combines the authenticity of the past and the modernity of the future, embracing a special exhibition for archaeological replicas and Egypt’s ancient crafts. The pavilion is expected to attract 2.5 million visitors over a period of 6 months.

Expecting more than 200 official figures and dignitaries from all over the world, the Egyptian Pavilion will organize 116 events over the upcoming 6 months, varying between cultural salons, seminars, sessions, workshops as well as musical events, all highlighting Egypt’s contribution to enriching the Arab and international cultural scene. These events will shed light on the enormous strides that are being taken on the ground to achieve economic growth, sustainable development and welfare for the Egyptian people. It will host more than 100 events,

The building looks, from the outside, like a giant edifice decorated by the hieroglyphic signs of the most ancient language that man has ever known. Shining like the sun at the top of the huge building’s exterior wall, the pavilion’s logo, “Egypt”, is artistically based on a design that blends the 2 vital natural resources of the country – land and water.

Giant screens in the shape of the Suez Canal are telling the story of progress in a nation whose legacy has over the years been empowering its future. Symbolically, the main entrance to the pavilion is a triangular gate, representative of one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world - the Great Pyramid of Giza.
