Eh K'Paw Shee
Student and Volunteer in Norlane, Australia
Hello, my name is Eh K'Paw Shee and I am Karen. I was born in Mae Ra Moe refugee camp from Thailand-Myanmar Border and move to Australia in 2009. I'm growing up with a huge family and loving by everyone because I'm the youngest.
Living in Australia change my whole life. When I was a little kid, I want to be a teacher because back in refugee camp, I couldn't finish my homework once, and my teacher hit me with the long-thin stick so I decide to become a teacher and hit other kids like I get hit by my teacher from school.
Later when I was 13 years old, I saw my mum was in pain and very sick so I complete change my goal from teaching to nursing. I just want to take care of my mum and be with her when she in pain. From that day and till now I want to become a nurse and take care of her.
At the moment I am student doing Associate Degree of Arts at Deakin as a pathway, and after this course I want to get into nursing course and graduate in nursing.
I'm also doing a volunteer work because I love to doing it and it's make me happy. I feel like I'm actually helping other and I also learn from my experience.
I'm also interested in education, music and sport such as volleyball.
