I have been fascinated by technology since first helping my father carry a box of programming cards to the mainframe at the University.

Since that time I have been a: stereophile; PC enthusiast; network engineer; client-server programmer; IT manager; data center director; DR and business continuity architect; and business solutions consultant.

I believe Cloud Technologies are the next wave of technology innovation and am an avowed Cloud Evangelist.

I am a strong supporter of Agile software development methodologies and am currently the Build Manager for an awesome group of .NET programmers providing Web and Sharepoint solutions to a wide range of businesses.

I consult with customers on: implementing Agile infrastructures; migrating production systems to virtual environments; and architecting eBusiness, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions.

I am also a foodie and avid supporter of Management Intensive Grazing techniques allowing small farms to provide alternative sources of exceptional poultry, mutton, and beef to local communities - and support my wife's fiber addiction (spinning, knitting, and dying wool) by helping run a small sheep farm.
