Has helped develop numerous new Social Enterprises in Wales from concept to set up. Ventures have included Wales’s first Zero Waste Village; achieving Wales's highest landfill diversion rate of 87% which informed Welsh Government Zero Waste Plan, Wales’s first Fareshare surplus food redistribution operations, and the new National Beekeepers Centre for Wales.

As former Chair of Directors for Minera Community Ltd, which now runs a 13th Century pub as a cooperative venture, community renewal is at the heart of Eifion's personal interests. The full potential of Social Enterprise, Eifion believes, has not yet been fully realised; it nurtures locally driven trades, cultural expression, stable and sustainable finance as well as the new Circular Economy; its input into all aspects of society have never been needed more.

"Eifion has a deep and sympathetic knowledge of both key sustainability issues and of working with individuals and community organisations at all levels of development" Colin Keyse - Manager of the National Beekeeping Centre for Wales

"Eifion is a thoughtful and intelligent champion of sustainability, social equity and social enterprise, he has made a great difference to many social enterprises over the years" Mal Williams - Director Zero Waste Wales
