Hello fellow classmates!

I'd like to start with a disclaimer: I only make music in the shower.

My name is Eilidh Macdonald (pronounced Haley without the H). I'm newly working as a Learning Specialist Teacher and am thrilled by this new opportunity to learn and grow as an educator. Prior to this academic year, I spent three years working as an alternative school teacher in Ontario and then in B.C.

As a teacher my greatest strength is in relationship building, and my biggest area for improvement is in time management and creativity. I thrive off of collaboration so please, if you do too, let's connect!

I am an avid fitness fan and outdoor enthusiast. Prior to becoming a "real adult" I spent time roaming the earth and exploring new places and cultures. There was a time in my life where I fully believed I would someday live in Australia, so when I completed my Education degree, that's where I headed. It turns out it's not that simple, and they kicked me out after a year. I'm now in a new phase of trying to be a "real adult", living in Abbotsford, and working in Mission.
