Get2True is my creative, untainted space. It is our No Judgment Zone. I share this space with all those who come through to sit down and set a spell. We'll chat a little about a few Points to Ponder then chew a little Food For Thought.
Get2True features original stories, poetry, current and world events and a little girl talk in Sistah Speak. We'll also talk about Heart Health which isn't just food and nutrition. We'll touch on the touchy and feel on the not so feel good topics.
I aspire to INSPIRE and to EMPOWER readers to live their best lives. We have to take responsibility for our big, fat, fabulous lives and everything in it. When we know better, we can do better. Those who know the way should show the way. So, we invite you to be one who knows and one who shows.
Both reader and writer have unique experiences that enable us to speak to the pleasure and pain of our individual and collective experiences and can help to usher in healing of mind, body and spirit that so many deserve and are in desperate need.
There are no quick fixes, no miracle drugs or miracle potions. It's work. Life happens through us (victors) or to us (victims). How you choose to view and use your experiences will either empower you or enslave you to them.
Success is an individual endeavor even when pursued collaboratively. Your future needs only one person to show up...YOU!
We here at Get2True want to be a support, a resource for that bit of inspiration, unction and empowerment that will help to catapult you to a better you. When we are healed, we can better recognize brokenness and boldly pursue healing.
Our No Judgment Zone is about remembering when we were in our valley place, sometimes just needing a word of encouragement, a friendly ear, a hand to hold or just to be told it's going to be all right.
Remembering the journey and the lessons learned along the way can help promote the wealth in good (physical, emotional and mental) health in ourselves and in others.
