I am an award-winning investigative journalist, analyst, and producer, who has been focused on Syria, Iraq and the rise of ISIS since 2012. Most recently I have been focused on long-form documentary projects, magazine features, and in-depth investigations on these subjects.

I'm currently working on a book project.

I'm one of the founders of the Frontline Freelance Register and the ACOS Alliance, projects that strive to improve journalism safety. I'm a trustee of the Frontline Club in London.
