Passion for the world of mass media is what drives EJ in pursuing his present career. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from the University of Pangasinan-PHINMA, the same university where other media people finished their training. His dream to become a media practitioner started when he was in sixth grade and got amplified when he joined the Radio Broadcasting event during the Division Schools Press Conference in 2008 when he was in fourth year high school.

During his college years, he joined his alma mater’s student publication, The Students’ Herald, bagging awards in journalism contests and joining conferences that honed more his journalistic skills. He served as its editor in chief in school year 2012-2013, his final year in college.

His stint as scriptwriter, host, anchor and director at Talk TV Global, an internet TV outfit based in Northern Luzon, lasted for a year. His first project was Pangasinan Watch, a news program which took off during the campaign period of the 2013 midterm elections. Being a traveller at heart, he also wrote for, directed and hosted Traveldotcom, featuring various tourist destinations in Pangasinan and meeting new adventures in every episode.

His knack for new experiences knows no bounds. From the hectic and less than formal world of TV production, he now enters the vertical organizational setting of the corporate world. He currently works as copywriter of Suntrust Properties, Inc., a wholly-owned company of real estate giant Megaworld Corp.

Many may say he has experienced a lot at a young age. But, he believes that more tasks are to be done and even more opportunities to be grabbed.
