Emily Jesseph

Hello!

My name is Emily Jesseph and I am a sophomore who just transferred in for the spring semester.

I have been bouncing around a lot these past two years between different colleges and different cities. I originally started at a small college down in Florida but learned very quickly I didn't belong there. I made plans to come to UGA fairly quickly but before UGA, I took one semester at KSU.

My goal, however, never changed no matter where I was. I plan to go into marine biology and specialize in sharks and possibly deep ocean life as well. I have wanted to pursue this career since I was two years old, so I was one of the lucky few who grew up knowing what I wanted to do with my life and never lost sight of it. My ultimate goal is to make an appearance on Shark Week and earn a Ph.D.

I don't only love sharks but I love all animals. The dog in my picture is Cody, who is an English pointer with cerebral palsy (he is a little “off"). He is the light of my life and one of the many dogs my family has fostered and adopted throughout the years.
