The majority of USB-wired headsets have an integrated controller. For instance, the Jabra Evolve 20, like other models, comes with one. What can you do to use this controller inline? Below are the buttons you'll see in the Evolve 20 controller:

Volume up and down (this controls how loudly you can hear the calling guests)
Mute on or off (this will turn off or on your mic)
Calls that end and answer (if you're using any of the apps for communication that are compatible, such as Teams, Zoom, RingCentral, Dialpad, etc.), and then start a conversation and close it via the controller inline instead of scrolling through the program in your personal computer.
