Eric Recker

My name is Eric Recker, and I graduated from Michigan State University in December 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising. I am currently seeking a position in the marketing communications field.

During my time at Michigan State I had the opportunity to gain experience through internships. While working at the communications department of Michigan State's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, I gained a lot of knowledge of the atmosphere of working in a communications department and the task required to have an integrated marketing message.

For this position I had a variety of assignments including: writing press releases, maintaining social media accounts, editing websites using a content management website, creating templates and sending newsletters using Constant Contact and editing articles submitted by Michigan State researchers.

Outside of classes and working, I enjoy staying active by working out and playing basketball. I played on many intermural teams while at college, and participated in the finals of the dodgeball league at Michigan State.
