Ekara Inyang, is a purpose-driven changemaker and the Chief Executive of The Opportunity and Knowledge Initiative (The OAK) — an after-school NGO dedicated to fighting poverty, unemployment, sexual exploitation, sex trafficking, and financial dependence among girls and young people in Nigeria.

In partnership with government agencies and innovative entrepreneurs, she has empowered over 500 girls with hands-on vocational skills like makeup artistry, hairstyling, baking, wig making, shoe production, and custard processing, along with business development training to help them build sustainable futures.

She is also the founder of Karan Beauty Hub, an online beauty store where her love for entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation come together. She is a graphic designer, a proud advocate of the Christian faith, and a passionate voice for girl-child empowerment.

She dreams of a world where women are recognized for their value, strength, and economic contributions — not objectified. She believes in gender equality, financial independence, and a future where every girl can thrive, dream boldly, and live freely.
