Ekemini Ekanem

Msc. Property Student and Consultant in London, United Kingdom

My name is Ekemini (pronounced: ekeh-mini), but I mostly go by Kems.

I’m currently working in highway construction whilst studying a Masters Degree in Property and Facilities Management.

I have an avid interest in urban development and investment particularly gentrification, and would like to explore this further within a property manager role.

Developing this interest within the property development and maintenance sector opportune me to successfully facilitate a £2.1b regeneration program with Ballymore Group as a Document Controller/ Office Manager; circa £1m projects for reactive and planned schemes spanning affordable residences with Mears Group Plc as a Senior Planner/ Assistant Supervisor; and high-profile properties worth £1,000-23,000pcm with Kier Group partnered with Grainger Plc as a Senior Resource Controller/ Property Manager Assistant.

This experience aided business acumen, with successful implementation of cognitive solutions to business issues, proactive decisions and high level stakeholder management, whilst streamlining business processes. For example reducing resident complaints, assigning 1750 outstanding repairs within a week to stakeholder satisfaction, establishing strong tenant relationships and significantly increasing operative performance.

Property, people and passion equates property success. Coupled with creativity and an artistic flair, I pay great attention to detail and diligence with an aim to provide significant value to those I support.

Home is where the heart is and my home is a place where good music, good food and perfect company reside.
