Emily Silva

I'm a first year Journalism student at Ryerson University in the heart of Toronto, Ontario. I grew up in the friendly town of Cambridge, Ontario where I lived and breathed broadcast journalism and theatre.

I have been involved in theatre productions since the age of seven and just recently started a new journey in journalism which will hopefully begin my future career.

I previously volunteered at Rogers TV in Kitchener, Ontario for just over four years working camera, graphics, and audio while often floor directing and switching for various TV productions.

Broadcast journalism now has a special place in my heart, but I can't wait to see where these next few years of learning will take me!
