Media Designer and Professor in Germany
Eku studied Visual Communication at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK). In 1991 he was founder, creative and managing director of one of the largest New Media agencies Pixelpark AG in Berlin, which is rather well known in Germany until today. He founded the Multimedia studio eku interactive in 1993 and realized numerous interactive media projects, CD-ROM titles and computer games. His knowledge spans media authoring, direction, producing and publishing in the edutainment and computer game industry. In 2013 he founded PT tewa international, a Social Media Marketing agency based in Jakarta.
Since 20 years he is full-time Professor for Media Design/Multimedia at the Visual Communication Department of the 2nd largest art university in Germany Braunschweig University of Art (HBK).
He is an in demand jury member, giving speeches and workshops at other academic institutions in Europe and Indonesia. His works are present at numerous media festivals and exhibitions around the world and have won various prizes and distinctions.
