Strategic Communications in Washington, DC
For as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated by the relationship between church and culture. I have dedicated my life to studying religion, and examining the places where personal faith intersects with public life.
I love talking about religion and politics, church and society, public theology, and social ethics.
I want to help leaders, communities, organizations, and others who are working for the common good use communications strategies to amplify their voices and convey their unique vision.
I am currently serving as the Communications Director of a progressive think tank working on peace, justice, and environment issues. In addition, I have also worked with faith-based and other non-profit organizations on a variety of public policy issues.
I am a life-long learner. I hold an MA in Strategic Communications from American University, and a Masters in Theological Studies from Wesley Theological Seminary. In college, I studied Religion and Art History (yes, art history).
In my free time, I like to geek out on baseball (I'm a huge Nats fan!), read a lot of books, go shopping, be creative, and get involved in the community.
