For over 15 years I had a varied and fulfilling career as a professional dancer. When I made the decision to hang up my dancing shoes and leave show business I felt that working within the fitness industry was a natural progression.
After 'feeling the burn' for several years, I was sure there must be a gentler, more holistic way of helping to maintain our strength, flexibility and general well-being.
Since qualifying at the Pilates Institute in London in 2001, I have trained many clients and through regular Pilates sessions they have all increased their body awareness, muscular strength and flexibility and postural issues have been addressed. As a result, a feeling of muscular balance and overall well-being has been achieved.
