I recently completed my Bachelor of Education (Art Ed major, Music Ed minor) through the University of Lethbridge, Alberta. I was fortunate enough to find a teaching position at a private school here in Victoria where I teach Gr.4-7 Art. I also teach piano and the ukulele. I couldn't have asked for a better first teaching practicum than with Mr.Atwood's Grade 4 class at Cardston Elementary School! My second practicum at Barnwell School was even more amazing and I had the opportunity to teach art from K-9. My last teaching internship was the most rewarding experience I've had so far. I was fortunate enough to be placed back home in Victoria, BC at St.Margaret's School where I had many opportunities to develop as a teacher. My inquiry project was on project-based learning and I was really proud of my students for successfully completing a very complex and advanced long-term project. I graduated from the University of Victoria in 2012 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts Major), and from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2011 with a Diploma of Technology-Architecture and Building Engineering. I also hold TESL certification, and an ARCT Piano Performance Diploma and ARCT Piano Pedagogy certificates (Elementary and Intermediate).

My dream is to open my own art studio called Dino & Panda Art Studios where I will teach numerous exciting and creative classes and workshops to all age groups in my hometown.
