Elaine Melinda Steyn

Hey there, I’m Elaine Melinda. I’m a teacher living in South Africa. I am a fan of technology, photography, and education. I’m also interested in running and reading. You can watch my videos with a click on the button above.

I completed my BEd degree in Mathematics in 2011, during 2012 and 2013 I did BEd honors in Educational Psychology.

In 2015 I did the pre-registration classes for Masters, unfortunately, I did not have time to start with my Masters.

I am currently a full-time teacher at Laerskool Helderkruin in Roodepoort, teaching Mathematics and Afrikaans to grade 4 kids. My extra activities are coaching mini-netball, mini-cricket and running.

I am known to be the nerd teacher at school... :) Always looking for new ways to use technology in my class, supporting my colleagues, using Google Apps to help the School Management Team.

I am so excited about Masters in ICT being available online and I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge about the use of ICT in my class, school and community.
