Brynjar Eldon Geirsson

Born in 1977 in Reykjavík, married to Gunnur Sveinsdóttir and got three girls Þórey, Ingibjörg and Anna. I started young to play the great game of golf first at the age of 8 at GC Keilir Hafnarfjörður (Hcp 2). I went to Germany at the age of 20 and began my study at the PGA of Germany to become a Teaching Golfprofessional. During my time in Germany I worked as a golfteacher at the Golfakademie Paderborn with a great staff wich I learned alot from along with the PGA golfschool. After my time in Germany I came home to Iceland and started a new job as a Hedpro at GC Kópavogur Garðabær a club with 1400 members. My ambition is though undoubtedly teaching golf. I have been working for the last six years at the largest golf club in Iceland, GC Reykjavík (3000 members). There I, along with five assistant instructors www.progolf.is , have been in charge of general instruction of teenagers and athletes looking to go far in the sport as well as the women's national team.
