Eleanor Hicks

Hello! I am Eleanor (she/her) and I am a freelance Producer and Community Creative Arts Facilitator based in Manchester.

Having graduated with a first class honours degree in Drama and English Literature from the University of Manchester in 2022 and developing a passion in the socially-engaged arts and its ethics, my practice is participant-centred, ensuring that care and responsiveness is at the core of my work.

Careful planning to generate a playful and explorative atmosphere ensures that my practice is focused on effecting a journey for the participants, encouraging their creativity to spark ideas and to lead the sessions. This safe space allows long-term authentic connections to be developed.

My Practice:

• Freelance facilitator working and training with Theatre in Prisons and Probation (TiPP) on various short term and long term projects.
• LAMDA teacher and drama club lead with Stagecraft Academy Cheshire.
• Heritage workshops delivered at Withington Baths and Leisure Centre.
