Eleanor Parker Sapia

Eleanor Parker Sapia

Puerto Rican-born, I was raised in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Europe. I've had the opportunity to live and work in Austria, Belgium, and France, where my life experiences as an artist, counselor, alternative health practitioner, a Spanish language social worker, and a refugee case worker, continue to inspire my passion for writing. When not writing, I facilitate creativity groups, and tell myself I am making plans to walk El Camino de Santiago a second time. A Decent Woman is my debut novel, set in 1900 Puerto Rico. I am a mother of two adult children, and live in West Virginia, where I am writing a second novel, The Island of Goats.
