In 2013, I wrote a report on sustainability and ethics within the fashion industry. A lot of this focused on the 2013 Rana Plaza factory disaster, which in the 90 seconds it took to collapse, became a symbol of global inequality. As demand for cheap clothing continues to grow, fast fashion is the second largest polluter in the world. I have and continue to be interested in methods that will make the industry safer for the environment and humans alike.
