Elec- Trick

My name is Mervyn Baggs and I have been an electrician over 25 years. I created Elec-Trick in 2004 and since then it has experienced many changes but for now we work mainly for my own customers as opposed to contracting work on building sites. We strive to give an excellent service at a fair and reasonable price. Much of our work comes from personal recommendation and we have managed to get quite a relationship with many elderly customers who I have been told feel we are fair and do our very best to do what we say we will do.

The core business Elec-Trick (E-T) undertakes is electrical works including rewires, extra points, shower installs security and all the usual areas of work one would connect with an electrician, More recently Photo Voltaic has become more important due to the fantastic returns customers can get. More about that later.

E-T have done and continue to do a lot of plumbing work ranging from complete installs of heating systems. For Gas work we use a friendly Gas Safe contractor so we can also supply and fit boilers. Cylinder changes, unvented systems (mains pressure water heaters), are also installs E-T is also approved to carry out. Also E-T can fit solar thermal water heating ranging from a small install in a house up to a swimming pool heating system recently finished.

We have been fitting Solar PV (Generating Electricity From Solar Panels) now for some time. More recently we have achieved MCS approval in my own right. Up to now I have been installing PV as an approved installer for other companies but now Elec-Trick can carry out a solar PV installation and achieve the FITS (Payments) for Elec-Trick's clients directly.
