ElectrodZ
ElectrodZ Music Talks about Power , Passion , Love and Nature.
***
Though quite new, Electrodz has already developed quite a following – and that might be due to their band leader, Ali Khodadoust. A classically trained musician, Ali has developed a fan base that has become familiar with his unique style, and a family decision to form a band with his brother Shahriar (on guitar) and partner Niloufar Mohazzab (creative director and second keyboard) has proven to be an extremely satisfying one indeed for the trio. A fusion of classical music, middle eastern music , rock and jazz, Electrodz music is about love and nature – the power of it, its’ impact and its’ magical ability to heal. In addition, the band truly believes in music being able to inspire, and seeks to use their music to encourage listeners to live life with soul and care for nature. The decision to choose electronic as a genre for their music is not a new one; as a student of classical music in the Ukraine many years ago, Ali experimented with classical music and jazz, while his brother was more inclined towards hard rock and metal. Various attempts to work together did not really take off until recently, when Shahriar came to Malaysia to study music and Ali met Malaysia’s metal guru, Thanasekar Thangavelo. After a few jam sessions with Thanasekar, and also some between themselves, the trio decided it was time to come up with an album, and their first album, Water & Fire, was born. While not fully decided on their next step, the trio is convinced that their music will appeal to the newer generation of electronic music lovers – and intend to stick around for awhile to prove it.
