It started when I began almost a year ago about learning how many bad chemicals are in soaps and cleaning products. I couldnt believe what I learned and how many artificial ingredients we have used to replace what was once all natural. I became interested in the history of soap, cleaning products, and any other product we place on our skin. I learned the process of soap making and how to use natural ingredients to improve you skin and compliment skin. Most of the soaps sold in stores use artificial detergents which are not good for your skin or your bodies over all health. So I began to make homemade cleaning products and soaps. Me and my fiance began making soaps we could sell. Along the way I learned how to cut glass bottles for candle making and we began to make candles as well. And after me and my fiance talked about our soap and candles then elegant home goods was born.
