Elemental Alchemy

As a cancer research nurse, I could not believe the toxic chemicals being put into health and beauty products. But when I saw the same products being marketed with a pink ribbon on them...it was an insult to the work I did, the patients I cared for, and the brave souls who lost the battle.

Blending my training in pharmaceutical research, wound care, and complementary therapies, I created a skin cream that was nearly 100% organic. My formulary is based on clinical data found on the NIH website, research trends in plant based DNA repair, data from the Environmental Working Group, the wisdom of indigenous peoples for my tinctures, and Usui Reiki. And as a nod to our ancestors, phases of the moon are even considered during the manufacturing process.

With a provisional patent, a 99.7% satisfaction rate, the approval of several licensed estheticians, a Facebook page filled with amazed and grateful users, and approval from Whole Foods, I am targeting them, Whole Body, and local co-ops.

Some companies won't do the right thing because it's too expensive, too laborious, or they just don't care. BUT...they will follow the dollar.

Part of that process is consumer education. Smart consumers are bad for bad businesses; they invest in businesses that do good.

I teach people which chemicals to look out for, which companies are the 'problem children', which ones are making a positive difference, and how a consumer can find quality products while shopping anywhere.
