Elena Flores is from Big Spring, Texas and is a first generation college student who is pursuing the 150-hour Program in Accounting from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University to obtain both a Bachelor's and Master's degree. Elena is currently a sophomore who is set to graduate in May 2017 and plans to obtain a minor in Finance. Elena is active at Texas Tech, as she is part of a honor society, Gamma Beta Phi, and she is also part of the Women in Business organization. Elena has qualified for the Dean's Honor List for the Fall 2014 semester. When Elena is not devoting her time on school and organizations, she likes to spend her time helping others and participate in fitness activities. Once she graduates, she plans to move to Austin, Texas and pursue a career with a corporation or an accounting firm.
