I am a PhD Candidate at La Trobe University in Victoria, Australia.

My research interests include:-

• Human Research Ethics
• Community Participation
• Community Based Participatory Research
• Postmodern Theory
• Social Media

I am a member of TASA, The Australian Sociological Association.

My research is part of an overarching research program called Improving the Health of Communities through Participation. The program is a university/community partnership, funded by the health services in three rural Victorian communities.

Components of my PhD include:-

• Community based participatory health research in a rural town
• Exploration of ethical implications of community based participatory research
• Blogs as a data collection method
