Eleni Demetriou

A financial and marketing professional with 20 years of experience working for numerous major investment banking institutions, Eleni Demetriou has earned recognition from colleagues and competitors alike. Licensed to conduct business as a broker-dealer and securities agent, Eleni Demetriou is a candidate for the rank of Level II Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute. As the recent Vice President (U.S. Business) of Institutional Marketing for Prudential Financial in Newark, New Jersey, Eleni Demetriou collaborated with senior management in the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and research for some of Prudential’s largest clients. An effective liaison between internal operations and client businesses, Eleni Demetriou drew from her extensive knowledge and study of critical issues to attract new business for Prudential Financial. From 2004 to 2008, Eleni Demetriou served New York-based Merrill Lynch & Company as Vice President of the Investor Strategy Group, where she focused on U.S. Fixed Income. A valued asset of Merrill Lynch’s Global Private Client I&WM; division, Eleni Demetriou identified and fostered the continued growth of beneficial trading strategies, suggested and facilitated value-added trades, implemented the Interest Rate Sensitivity Campaign to analyze interest rate trends, and earned nomination to the Global Markets Innovation Program. Eleni Demetriou also handled client relations through the newsletters “Fixed Income Weekly” and “Fixed Income Actionable Ideas” and worked directly with industry professionals on Wall Street to refresh her knowledge of market trends and provide the best possible information to clients. For nearly seven years, Eleni Demetriou thrived in the post of Vice President and Trader (U.S. Fixed Income) at Chase Asset Management and, later, at JPMorgan Fleming Asset Management. At JPMorgan, Eleni Demetriou concentrated her efforts on the manifold needs of private banks, including portfolio strategy, trade execution, and coordination of systems development. Eleni Demetriou performed a variety of tasks at Chase and proved necessary in the management of institutional short-duration, intermediate, and aggregate total return accounts. Eleni Demetriou garnered valuable experience working in several branches of Prudential Insurance Company of America, including Investments, Liquidity Asset Management, and Capital Management Group. A resident of Elizabeth, New Jersey, Eleni Demetriou holds a BS in
