As an undergraduate studying biology and chemistry at California State University, Northridge (CSUN), Dr. Eleni Saroukos served as an instructor for a human physiology lab. There, she designed and led experiments that demonstrated to students the functionality of organ systems and how these systems work together to keep the human body alive. Following graduation from CSUN, Dr. Eleni Saroukos attended Western University of Health Sciences, where she earned a doctor of pharmacy.

Through active involvement in the American Pharmacists Association, Dr. Eleni Saroukos remains engaged with professional peers and informed on the latest advancements in pharmaceutical development. She has a particular professional interest in medications for cancer and their pharmacological effect.

Also a proponent of exercise as a key factor to prolonged health, Dr. Saroukos maintains a workout regimen consisting of three to four strength-training sessions per week. She enjoys spending her free time cultivating her knowledge of past and present fashion styles and cooking traditional Greek, Italian, and American foods. During her youth, Dr. Eleni Saroukos traveled to Greece every other year, where she visited sites all over the country.
