ELEONORA MAJORANA

Barcelona

I was born in 1984 in Sicily Island, Italy.
In elementary school I loved the hours of Image Education and I spent my childhood drawing in my mother's painting studio. I also carried spray cans in my backpack.

After graduating in International Communication at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature of the University of Catania, I continued my studies in Barcelona where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Design, specializing in Graphic Design at the University Elisava. I also attended the Master in Branding and Packaging at BAU University.

I did an internship in Javier Mariscal's design studio and I joined the design team of the global branding consultancy Interbrand in Mexico City.

In my opinion creativity implies knowledge, new and original ideas come out from what we are inside and from what we have seen and experienced.
The more you enrich your life, the more you enrich your work. Learning different methods of working is necessary for my profession and most of all, Graphic Designers have a social responsibility. It is for this reason my education has taken me to Barcelona, Paris, Mexico City and New York.

I'm also the creator of the Sicilian accessories' and souvenirs' brand conDUCImi™ that I will launch on march 2015. Eventually I work as translator for Nintendo DS' videogames.

I love rain, the smell of pencils, Catalan Modernism, hip hop culture, drawing no-sense names, collecting all kind of Our Lady of Guadalupe and my black cat.
