Eleonora Rosati
Cambridge, UK
Currently a research associate at the University of Cambridge and copyright law and policy consultant, I am an Italian-qualified lawyer (avvocato) with a few years’ experience in the field of intellectual property (IP), having worked, among other things, in the IP departments of Bird&Bird LLP in Milan and London.
I hold two top-rate law degrees from the University of Florence, and an LLM from the University of Cambridge, where I specialised in domestic and international IP, EU law and competition law.
In 2012 I obtained my PhD in EU copyright law from the European University Institute, Florence.
I have written quite extensively in the field of copyright and am a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice.
An IP enthusiast, I am also a regular contributor to highly-reputed The 1709 Blog and IPKat weblogs, for which I report and comment on IP-related news from all over the world.
