Elessa Boiko

Hello There!

I'm Elessa, and I'm working on a Communication Studies degree.

I am passionate about the Music and Entertainment industries. I currently work for a booking and promoting entity called Parade of Flesh. I assist in the planning of the logistics of many of the shows, and thoroughly enjoy working in various venues in Deep Ellum. Parade of Flesh is a Dallas Red Bull Sound Select Curator, and I've had the pleasure of working with the Red Bull Dallas team in helping to organize these monthly shows. I've worked on a handful of Dallas festivals in the Downtown area, including Parade of Flesh's Spillover Music Fest, Index Fest, Homegrown Fest, and other smaller fest-type events. In the past, I've been involved in Southwestern University's Programming Council, which brought different musical acts, comedians, spoken word poets, and other groups to the school. I was the Hospitality Coordinator for Southwestern University's 2013 Clusterfest Music Festival with headliner AWOLNation.

I also worked 60 hours and earned a music badge during SXSW '13 working on the Interactive Panels Crew. I was able to meet some amazing authors and panelists and work with other wonderful volunteers and SXSW personel.
