I started running Elevate Marketing in 2012. It was a big step at the time, leaving my full time job but it made sense. I could work for myself and use my experience and qualifications. I started advising family and friends and my client list grew through recommendations.

I have nearly 20 years' experience in marketing, working for small and medium organisations in a range of sectors including leisure, flooring, consultancy, IT, business support and dental. As Head of Marketing for a Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise Agency I worked closely with small businesses to better understand their needs.

When not working for Elevate I teach the Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications and work for the family business Medefix.

I have studied myself. I have a Masters in Marketing, the CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and the CAM Diploma in Digital Marketing.

I moved to Nettleham five years, originally from Lincolnshire it seemed the perfect place to bring up our children. I have recently taken up tennis again, hoping to get back to competitions. I don't get a lot of free time, but sometimes fit in some reading - just finished Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn.
