All my life, I have loved to travel and visit new places. I was always ready to go on vacation to see where we were going to next. For the most part, I travel to new places and cities with my parents. However, my most recent trip was this summer to Salt Lake City, Utah where I went with our president and three of my fraternity brothers for our fraternity’s convention. We weren’t able to do a whole lot since we were only there for a weekend but we did get to hike up one of the mountains on the ski resort. I have also been to places like the Chesapeake Bay in Virginia, The Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California. In Virginia, I stayed in a Bay House and I was able to enjoy kayaking and taking the boat out to enjoy the perfect weather over the summer. I attended the Naval Academy’s summer seminar in Annapolis and I went to visit my brother and my newborn niece in San Diego. Those trips are some of my favorite along with my trip to New Orleans last January. Since I love to travel and my major is Mechanical Engineering I plan to try and earn a position at Delta. This summer I will be pursuing a position as a Co-Op with them. If I get the Co-Op position, I will receive flight benefits and be able to fly standby wherever I want whenever I want. My love for traveling has greatly influenced my career choice and even my major to a certain extent.
